It’s not fair that this mama looks so gorgeous preggo! Lol, isn’t she beautiful? This sweet couple are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks – a girl! We had a great day in La Jolla, enjoying the sun and some yummy ice cream (I didn’t make her eat the pickles) before heading down to the cove for some shots on the beach. We had fun watching the seals chit chat or bark at each other – what a life, you get to hang out on a rock all day and be lazy, then just bark orders to your friends, lol. Anyways, here are a few from our session. I can’t wait to photograph their little one once she arrives!

Ahh don’t you miss that show? Lol.
I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family a few weeks ago right before the holidays and OMG – these three little girls are seriously the cutest kiddos ever! Seriously – their eyes are amazing, and their smiles make you feel happy. Seeing the three of them interact is magical – there is a bond these girls will have forever and it is so wonderful to see at this age.

I am a bit overdue with this sweetie’s blog post. Meet little N – such a tiny sweet little one. Her parents are remodeling their home before moving in so we held the session in their empty home, which was cool because I was able to sprawl out allllllll over the room. I had props, blankets, etc all over the place, lol. I always like to take baby outside if possible to take some shots in ‘nature’ – which is usually in the back yard, but scored big time when we found this area just a few steps away from their front door. It was a bit too cold to have little N do the ‘naked baby in nature’ pose, but I think this turned out just as cute. Most of all, I had an absolutely wondeful time getting to know N’s parents, who are so excited and in love with their new little girl!

This week, I had the pleasure of photographing a fellow photographer and her beautiful family. Hillary is used to being the one snapping the pictures of her little girl, but once a year or so, us photograpers know how important it is to take a break, put the camera down and let someone else capture your own family. You can see Hillary’s work here. It was also sweet little L’s 2nd birthday so of course two balloons were in order. Meet little dude N. He’s a barrel of smiles, seriously! I am pretty sure he didn’t fuss the entire evening, which is rare for a one year old! Having just celebrated his first birthday, his beautiful mama wanted to plan a cake smash session as well as some portraits of her little guy. N had no problem digging into his birthday cake, smearing it all over himself, and then giving mommy and daddy some great big cake hugs. Clothing may or may not have been caked during this session, lol. It was all worth it – we had a blast and got some great shots to celebrate N’s first year of life. Happy (late) birthday little guy!

… or I should say ‘.. Makes Four’ – I can’t forget this little sweetie’s ‘big sister’ – a cute chocolate lab that is pretty excited to have a ‘sibling’ to play with!
Meet Miss A. I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little girl a couple of weeks ago when she was 3 weeks old. Daddy is a helicopter pilot, so of course we tried hard to get the ‘baby in a helmet’ shot, but Miss A was not too keen on that idea, so we decided to skip it… plus I am sure dad appreciates that his helmet didn’t get peed in, lol! I had a wonderful time photographing A and her sweet parents – I love seeing new parents – so fresh in love with their new bundle of joy – thanks so much for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your little cutie, R family!

It was so fun photographing A a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t she have the cutest preggo belly? A is expecting her little one any day now. Boy or girl? We don’t know, but we had a fun time spelling out all 5 different names in blocks on mama’s belly that they have picked out – I won’t share them here because, well – I don’t know which one it will be, and you probably don’t want to see the same photo posted 5 times, lol!
