Meet sweet little Luna. I had the pleasure of photographing this little bundle of cuteness last month (yes, I am finally catching up on blogging now that I am on ‘vacation’). I am a bit overdue with this sweetie’s blog post. Meet little N – such a tiny sweet little one. Her parents are remodeling their home before moving in so we held the session in their empty home, which was cool because I was able to sprawl out allllllll over the room. I had props, blankets, etc all over the place, lol. I always like to take baby outside if possible to take some shots in ‘nature’ – which is usually in the back yard, but scored big time when we found this area just a few steps away from their front door. It was a bit too cold to have little N do the ‘naked baby in nature’ pose, but I think this turned out just as cute. Most of all, I had an absolutely wondeful time getting to know N’s parents, who are so excited and in love with their new little girl!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Things have been so crazy these past few weeks – ask any photographer and they’ll tell you that this is the busiest time of year – no kidding! I have been having a blast photographing newborns, gorgeous families and adorable kiddos… and neglecting the blog – eek! Lots of posts to follow as things calm down in the next few weeks – promise
This sweet adorable little A had her newborn session a few weeks ago and I am just now getting it on the blog – I couldn’t forget little A! At just a few days shy of the big ‘two week feeding frenzy’, Miss A was a perfect angel and a hungry little one too! We paused quite a few times for ‘lunch breaks’ as she ate, then ate more, then ate again, lol. It was worth the wait though – look at that little face! Love!
We had a totally fun session, hanging out in A’s gorgeous nursery (with awesome light) and listening to Jack Johnson while we snapped away. Thanks for a great session, S family!

This week, I had the pleasure of photographing a fellow photographer and her beautiful family. Hillary is used to being the one snapping the pictures of her little girl, but once a year or so, us photograpers know how important it is to take a break, put the camera down and let someone else capture your own family. You can see Hillary’s work here. It was also sweet little L’s 2nd birthday so of course two balloons were in order. A few weeks ago, on a cold and rainy October day, I got to meet sweet baby S, who was only one week old. It’s been a few weeks and part of the joy of photographing newborns for me, is to see baby again when we meet to deliver prints – in just 2-3 weeks, this sweet little newborn will have already grown and changed. It’s amazing to see such a little miracle of life change and grow right before your eyes. Even better, is when I get to watch these newborns grow into 6 month old babies, then 1 year old cake smashers, then rambunctious toddlers… kind of makes you stop and want to hug your own kids who are growing just as fast. Thank you, G family for allowing me to photograph your sweet, beautiful girl!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing little man T. He gave us nothing but smiles and happy faces – such a cutie! It’s always funny to suggest these kinds of locations to clients – I get to say ‘I’ll meet you in a back alley’.. lol. Anyways, here is Mr T in all of his one year old cuteness…
