It’s not fair that this mama looks so gorgeous preggo! Lol, isn’t she beautiful? This sweet couple are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks – a girl! We had a great day in La Jolla, enjoying the sun and some yummy ice cream (I didn’t make her eat the pickles) before heading down to the cove for some shots on the beach. We had fun watching the seals chit chat or bark at each other – what a life, you get to hang out on a rock all day and be lazy, then just bark orders to your friends, lol. Anyways, here are a few from our session. I can’t wait to photograph their little one once she arrives!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Things have been so crazy these past few weeks – ask any photographer and they’ll tell you that this is the busiest time of year – no kidding! I have been having a blast photographing newborns, gorgeous families and adorable kiddos… and neglecting the blog – eek! Lots of posts to follow as things calm down in the next few weeks – promise 
This sweet adorable little A had her newborn session a few weeks ago and I am just now getting it on the blog – I couldn’t forget little A! At just a few days shy of the big ‘two week feeding frenzy’, Miss A was a perfect angel and a hungry little one too! We paused quite a few times for ‘lunch breaks’ as she ate, then ate more, then ate again, lol. It was worth the wait though – look at that little face! Love!
We had a totally fun session, hanging out in A’s gorgeous nursery (with awesome light) and listening to Jack Johnson while we snapped away. Thanks for a great session, S family!

This beautiful family made this spot my new favorite location. K’s family just moved back here from Texas and K is actually a photographer as well – it’s pretty cool to shoot fellow photogs Anyways, we had planned a session for early October but then we had those crazy weeks of rain (and then 100 degree heat – go figure) so we had to postpone our session until the weather cooperated – I am so glad we waited – the sun and the lighting was just perfect for us. Little M is just 4 months old and cute as can be – she wore the cutest little pink dress and her mother being a photographer, is an Etsy shopper like me – hence the adorable headband! Anyways, thank you so much B family for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family!

Just catching up on a session from September – isn’t this family beautiful? We headed to one of my favorite locations and got some awesome family shots. Poor little A woke up that morning with a fever, so she needed a few extra cuddles to get her through, but with those adorable smiles, you would never know – she was a trooper! Thank you, O family for allowing me to photograph your picture perfect family!

A few weeks ago, on a cold and rainy October day, I got to meet sweet baby S, who was only one week old. It’s been a few weeks and part of the joy of photographing newborns for me, is to see baby again when we meet to deliver prints – in just 2-3 weeks, this sweet little newborn will have already grown and changed. It’s amazing to see such a little miracle of life change and grow right before your eyes. Even better, is when I get to watch these newborns grow into 6 month old babies, then 1 year old cake smashers, then rambunctious toddlers… kind of makes you stop and want to hug your own kids who are growing just as fast. Thank you, G family for allowing me to photograph your sweet, beautiful girl!

… or I should say ‘.. Makes Four’ – I can’t forget this little sweetie’s ‘big sister’ – a cute chocolate lab that is pretty excited to have a ‘sibling’ to play with!
Meet Miss A. I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little girl a couple of weeks ago when she was 3 weeks old. Daddy is a helicopter pilot, so of course we tried hard to get the ‘baby in a helmet’ shot, but Miss A was not too keen on that idea, so we decided to skip it… plus I am sure dad appreciates that his helmet didn’t get peed in, lol! I had a wonderful time photographing A and her sweet parents – I love seeing new parents – so fresh in love with their new bundle of joy – thanks so much for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your little cutie, R family!
