This beautiful family made this spot my new favorite location. K’s family just moved back here from Texas and K is actually a photographer as well – it’s pretty cool to shoot fellow photogs 
Anyways, we had planned a session for early October but then we had those crazy weeks of rain (and then 100 degree heat – go figure) so we had to postpone our session until the weather cooperated – I am so glad we waited – the sun and the lighting was just perfect for us. Little M is just 4 months old and cute as can be – she wore the cutest little pink dress and her mother being a photographer, is an Etsy shopper like me – hence the adorable headband! Anyways, thank you so much B family for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family!

Just catching up on a session from September – isn’t this family beautiful? We headed to one of my favorite locations and got some awesome family shots. Poor little A woke up that morning with a fever, so she needed a few extra cuddles to get her through, but with those adorable smiles, you would never know – she was a trooper! Thank you, O family for allowing me to photograph your picture perfect family!

A few weeks ago, on a cold and rainy October day, I got to meet sweet baby S, who was only one week old. It’s been a few weeks and part of the joy of photographing newborns for me, is to see baby again when we meet to deliver prints – in just 2-3 weeks, this sweet little newborn will have already grown and changed. It’s amazing to see such a little miracle of life change and grow right before your eyes. Even better, is when I get to watch these newborns grow into 6 month old babies, then 1 year old cake smashers, then rambunctious toddlers… kind of makes you stop and want to hug your own kids who are growing just as fast. Thank you, G family for allowing me to photograph your sweet, beautiful girl!

It’s been a crazy week – two beautiful newborn girls, two gorgeous families… and I am behind on blogging, eek! I just wanted to share the C family’s session. You might recognize the little dude – we did his cake smash about 8 months ago. Funny because I have a shot of him leaning over a suitase at age one, and he is striking that same exact pose on the plastic crate below… too funny. And Miss T… gosh I have known her since she was just 2 months old… and now she is a beautiful, smart and amazingly level-headed teenager… totally a role model for my girls (who adore her!) C family, it was so much fun! Enjoy

Happy Friday, everyone!
I just wanted to share a new product of mine that I am super excited about. It’s a unique, beautifully finished, and ready to hang Gallery Mount. Your image or storyboard is heat fused onto a sturdy and warp-resistant MDF wood product, measuring 3/8 of an inch thick. The image is sprayed with a PVC over-laminate finish. The sides of the mount are beveled at a 45 degree angle and come in either black or white, to give it it’s ‘framed’ and finished appearance.
The best part is that you can either hang it on a wall or display it on a small easel as shown. Just a light dusting now and then will keep it in perfect condition. These are especially great when pairing a few prints together on a wall. They can be ordered in a variety of sizes.

Ok so seriously, from heat wave to cold rain in one week…. eek! Ahhh, perfect editing and snuggling with my baby weather
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing four of the cutest kiddos – the C family. Can you imagine how fun it must be growing up with 3 other siblings? Fun!!!! These kiddos were so well behaved, smiley and happy – good job mama! Enjoy

Meet little dude N. He’s a barrel of smiles, seriously! I am pretty sure he didn’t fuss the entire evening, which is rare for a one year old! Having just celebrated his first birthday, his beautiful mama wanted to plan a cake smash session as well as some portraits of her little guy. N had no problem digging into his birthday cake, smearing it all over himself, and then giving mommy and daddy some great big cake hugs. Clothing may or may not have been caked during this session, lol. It was all worth it – we had a blast and got some great shots to celebrate N’s first year of life. Happy (late) birthday little guy!

Good morning! I have been slacking on updating the blog these past couple of weeks so I promise to get a few full blog posts up soon! In the meantime, here is the little sweetie I am working on today – this little dude was just two weeks old and so sweet!
