It was so much fun to meet all of these cute kiddos last week at PlayTown Indoor Playground in El Cajon. Seriously, everyone was so incredibly super duper awesomely dressed and did so great! Thank you, PlayTown for hosting my Easter mini sessions this year, and thank you to all of these kiddos’ parents for bringing them out to see me! Wishing you all a great week and happy Easter!
I am SO excited to be sharing this blog post. Little Ethan belongs to my very good friend L – you have seen her beautiful daughter (and Ava’s BFF) Brooke on my blog before – she’s the gorgeous blonde 
Mr. Ethan came one week earlier than planned. L was so excited to have just gone on maternity leave and take advantage of having one week all to herself to prepare for Ethan’s scheduled C-section arrival. Well, baby boy decided to not give his mama any down time – he came on her first day of Maternity leave! He is such a sweet baby, and he looks just like big sis. Congrats, A family on your gorgeous family Love ya!
It was so much fun meeting this happy and FUN family of five! We are so lucky to be able to shoot at the beach while other parts of the country are covered in cold snow. I love San Diego! Anyways, these kiddos were just getting over being sick – pneumonia is never fun, especially for the kids! They did great and we had a great time running around the beach and being silly. Here are a few from our session:
Ahhh yes, ketchup…. If you ever run into Ava, ask her to tell you the ketchup joke… you know – ‘what did the mama tomato say to the baby tomato while walking down the street?’ Yes I did teach that one to her, and yes, my jokes are just as awesome in person, lol.
Anyways, I am playing catch up with some posts from the past couple of months – November and December are the busiest months of the year and I have been working hard to get client galleries and orders ready, but I havn’t had a chance to do blog posts. I have quite a few more to go, and I hope to have them up by New Years, so bear with me

You might remember this handsome dude from last spring – here is Taylor and his beautiful mama Jillian – owner of Playtown Indoor Playground in El Cajon – Totally a fun place to bring the kiddos, especially on a rainy day
Do you remember sweet little Abigail from this session when she was just a few days old… well she’s now a beautiful and happy 6 month old baby girl. We had a great time at the beach (along with 839574 other photographers that day lol).
This sweet family and I had originally decided on a beach session shortly after the sunrise but when we got there we were freeeeeeeezing! It was so cold, and of course I wear nothing but flip flops anywhere – especially the beach…. my toes were frozen for a week! Anyways, we decided that it was too cold and moved nearby to a spot I ususally photograph at in the evenings, so it was fun scouting out new areas to find the best light for that time of day. We had a blast – they were such a fun and happy family
Off to make cookies with my girls for Santa. Wishing you ALL a Happy Holidays!!!
I’m not very good with blog titles, in fact I am pretty much the most un-original blog title person ever, but when I was uploading this session and was prompted to enter a blog title, it was instantaneous. This is little Iridae and her beautiful family. Her name makes me think of a bright light illuminating the sky, and hey - our session happened to fall on a beautiful, sunny day. The love these parents have for this little one was so overwhelming, so yeah – ‘You are my sunshine’ it is! Like it?

It’s been a crazy week – two beautiful newborn girls, two gorgeous families… and I am behind on blogging, eek! I just wanted to share the C family’s session. You might recognize the little dude – we did his cake smash about 8 months ago. Funny because I have a shot of him leaning over a suitase at age one, and he is striking that same exact pose on the plastic crate below… too funny. And Miss T… gosh I have known her since she was just 2 months old… and now she is a beautiful, smart and amazingly level-headed teenager… totally a role model for my girls (who adore her!) C family, it was so much fun! Enjoy
While melting in this heat (for those of you reading outside of CA, it is insanely hot today), I am happily editing away this little cutie’s today. It was so fun photographing A a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t she have the cutest preggo belly? A is expecting her little one any day now. Boy or girl? We don’t know, but we had a fun time spelling out all 5 different names in blocks on mama’s belly that they have picked out – I won’t share them here because, well – I don’t know which one it will be, and you probably don’t want to see the same photo posted 5 times, lol!
