I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Charlotte a few weeks ago – check out those cheekies – so squeezable 
Charlotte just turned 4 months old and her parents wanted to get some shots of her before she gets any bigger… babies grow so fast that first year! We had a great time, and I even sneaked in a quick shot of her pooch -the CUTEST bulldog ever! Puppy sat near us to watch over baby sister and snored the entire time – so cute. You may remember little Sydney from her 3 month session last fall. Well, I was so excited to be able to photograph her again just a few weeks ago. She is getting so big
and have you checked out that adorable happy smile of hers? She is full of giggly cuteness! Our session was during our unpredictable crazy San Diego weather, and today that day was pretty overcast but Miss Sydney was totally cool with us getting her in a diaper cover for a few shots – not a single complaint! It was such a pleasure to photograph sweet Sydney – thank you, B family!

Ohhh Baby Troy is 6 months! The last time you saw this cutie pie, he was just a few days old. You can see his newborn session from this summer here and mom and dad’s gorgeous maternity session here.
It was so much fun seeing this little guy again – such a handsome guy, with lots of personality! Lock up your daughters, mamas, because little Troy is going to be quite the hunky boy! So, I hadn’t photographed at this location in a couple of months, so I didn’t realize how early they closed their gates. We were just getting into putting Troy in a couple of baskets and props when we heard the park ranger over the loudspeaker ‘We are closing the gates in 5 minutes!’ Yikes!! We rushed to get a few shots and luckily, I knew of a 2nd location nearby where we were able to finish up. Note to self: check park hours! Thank goodness for the ‘spring forward’ last weekend – gates are open later now, phew!

It was so much fun meeting this happy and FUN family of five! We are so lucky to be able to shoot at the beach while other parts of the country are covered in cold snow. I love San Diego! Anyways, these kiddos were just getting over being sick – pneumonia is never fun, especially for the kids! They did great and we had a great time running around the beach and being silly. Ok so if you’ve been following my posts, you’ll know that I am not actually posting about ‘ketchup’, but actually playing ‘catch up’ with my 2010 blog posts. I certainly can’t forget these beautiful families, bellies and babes! Happy 2011 everyone! I’ll update this weekend with some newborn love
First off, here is the handsome Briggs – such a sweet guy!
Next up, another little newbie cutie… meet Miss Stella! She has the best ‘big sister’ – a huuuuuge English Mastiff that is full of cuddles… she is going to have so much fun with her when she gets older
Next up, Miss Hayden, who just turned one! Ok, actually she turned on in November, and our session got rained out – darn crazy San Diego weather! Little Hayden’s grandpa contacted me about doing a session for his little girl – he loves her SO much
To finish off this ‘Ketchup’ post, the gorgeous Vanessa, who is expecting her little one verrrry soon! I can’t wait to meet your new little peanut

Last year (as in a month ago, lol) I had the pleasure of photographing little 6 month old Chloe and her beautiful parents. With all of this crummy weather, we were so lucky to have one day of actual sun so that we could shoot Chloe in the crib just like I envisioned, just wearing her diaper cover. Usually these kinds of sessions work best in the summer due to the chill factor, but we scored with one day of sun, woot! Just look at Chloe’s eyes – gorgeous, so sparkling and inquisitive. She is such a cutie patootie! Thanks, L family for sharing a great day with me!

Ahh don’t you miss that show? Lol.
I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family a few weeks ago right before the holidays and OMG – these three little girls are seriously the cutest kiddos ever! Seriously – their eyes are amazing, and their smiles make you feel happy. Seeing the three of them interact is magical – there is a bond these girls will have forever and it is so wonderful to see at this age.

Ahhh yes, ketchup…. If you ever run into Ava, ask her to tell you the ketchup joke… you know – ‘what did the mama tomato say to the baby tomato while walking down the street?’ Yes I did teach that one to her, and yes, my jokes are just as awesome in person, lol.
Anyways, I am playing catch up with some posts from the past couple of months – November and December are the busiest months of the year and I have been working hard to get client galleries and orders ready, but I havn’t had a chance to do blog posts. I have quite a few more to go, and I hope to have them up by New Years, so bear with me

Next up is the gorrrrrgeous Jeanette, expecting her little guy (who has since made his appearance, yay!) I can’t wait to meet mini J
You might remember this handsome dude from last spring – here is Taylor and his beautiful mama Jillian – owner of Playtown Indoor Playground in El Cajon – Totally a fun place to bring the kiddos, especially on a rainy day
Do you remember sweet little Abigail from this session when she was just a few days old… well she’s now a beautiful and happy 6 month old baby girl. We had a great time at the beach (along with 839574 other photographers that day lol).
This sweet family and I had originally decided on a beach session shortly after the sunrise but when we got there we were freeeeeeeezing! It was so cold, and of course I wear nothing but flip flops anywhere – especially the beach…. my toes were frozen for a week! Anyways, we decided that it was too cold and moved nearby to a spot I ususally photograph at in the evenings, so it was fun scouting out new areas to find the best light for that time of day. We had a blast – they were such a fun and happy family
Off to make cookies with my girls for Santa. Wishing you ALL a Happy Holidays!!!

I’m not very good with blog titles, in fact I am pretty much the most un-original blog title person ever, but when I was uploading this session and was prompted to enter a blog title, it was instantaneous. This is little Iridae and her beautiful family. Her name makes me think of a bright light illuminating the sky, and hey - our session happened to fall on a beautiful, sunny day. The love these parents have for this little one was so overwhelming, so yeah – ‘You are my sunshine’ it is! Like it?
