It’s not fair that this mama looks so gorgeous preggo! Lol, isn’t she beautiful? This sweet couple are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks – a girl! We had a great day in La Jolla, enjoying the sun and some yummy ice cream (I didn’t make her eat the pickles) before heading down to the cove for some shots on the beach. We had fun watching the seals chit chat or bark at each other – what a life, you get to hang out on a rock all day and be lazy, then just bark orders to your friends, lol. Anyways, here are a few from our session. I can’t wait to photograph their little one once she arrives!

Ok so if you’ve been following my posts, you’ll know that I am not actually posting about ‘ketchup’, but actually playing ‘catch up’ with my 2010 blog posts. I certainly can’t forget these beautiful families, bellies and babes! Happy 2011 everyone! I’ll update this weekend with some newborn love 
First off, here is the handsome Briggs – such a sweet guy!
Next up, another little newbie cutie… meet Miss Stella! She has the best ‘big sister’ – a huuuuuge English Mastiff that is full of cuddles… she is going to have so much fun with her when she gets older
Next up, Miss Hayden, who just turned one! Ok, actually she turned on in November, and our session got rained out – darn crazy San Diego weather! Little Hayden’s grandpa contacted me about doing a session for his little girl – he loves her SO much
To finish off this ‘Ketchup’ post, the gorgeous Vanessa, who is expecting her little one verrrry soon! I can’t wait to meet your new little peanut

Ahhh yes, ketchup…. If you ever run into Ava, ask her to tell you the ketchup joke… you know – ‘what did the mama tomato say to the baby tomato while walking down the street?’ Yes I did teach that one to her, and yes, my jokes are just as awesome in person, lol.
Anyways, I am playing catch up with some posts from the past couple of months – November and December are the busiest months of the year and I have been working hard to get client galleries and orders ready, but I havn’t had a chance to do blog posts. I have quite a few more to go, and I hope to have them up by New Years, so bear with me

Next up is the gorrrrrgeous Jeanette, expecting her little guy (who has since made his appearance, yay!) I can’t wait to meet mini J
You might remember this handsome dude from last spring – here is Taylor and his beautiful mama Jillian – owner of Playtown Indoor Playground in El Cajon – Totally a fun place to bring the kiddos, especially on a rainy day
Do you remember sweet little Abigail from this session when she was just a few days old… well she’s now a beautiful and happy 6 month old baby girl. We had a great time at the beach (along with 839574 other photographers that day lol).
This sweet family and I had originally decided on a beach session shortly after the sunrise but when we got there we were freeeeeeeezing! It was so cold, and of course I wear nothing but flip flops anywhere – especially the beach…. my toes were frozen for a week! Anyways, we decided that it was too cold and moved nearby to a spot I ususally photograph at in the evenings, so it was fun scouting out new areas to find the best light for that time of day. We had a blast – they were such a fun and happy family
Off to make cookies with my girls for Santa. Wishing you ALL a Happy Holidays!!!

I have been soooo behind on blogging lately!! I have quite a few full blog posts to put up so I promise to get to those soon. In the meantime, I just wanted to share one quick sneak peek of this beautiful mama to be. I can’t wait to photograph her little girl when she arrives in just a few weeks.

I had the pleasure of photographing the M family along with their extended family last summer – you can see that post here. Well, I was so excited to get a call from J a couple of months ago, letting me know that they were expecting their second child! We headed over to one of my favorite beach locations (can you beat that amazing cliff in the background!!!) for a maternity/family session. Ooooooof course, because the overcast gods heard I was having yet another beach session this summer, it was overcast – again. Seriously, every single beach session I have done this summer it has been overcast! I won’t even get into the weather situation in San Diego this summer (or what summer??) Well, we still got some amazing shots of the beautiful, glowing J and her adorable little girl M, and hubby.

It was so fun photographing A a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t she have the cutest preggo belly? A is expecting her little one any day now. Boy or girl? We don’t know, but we had a fun time spelling out all 5 different names in blocks on mama’s belly that they have picked out – I won’t share them here because, well – I don’t know which one it will be, and you probably don’t want to see the same photo posted 5 times, lol! You might remember The S family from last summer when I was lucky enough to photograph little Miss S and her parents (she’s the cutie in front of the red doors on my blog header). Well, one year has passed, and little S is going to be a big sister! We headed to a new and awesome location and had a great time playing the opposites game. Apparently telling a 3 year old NOT to do something makes them do it… go figure! So the day was filled with ‘do NOT smile, do NOT look at the camera… hey – I said do NOT’… it also managed to get a few laughs too I am so excited for this family to meet their newest little babe!
S family, thank you so much for being there for our family when we needed you last fall – we had barely just met but you came into our lives and in words I can’t even begin to express, you truly became a friend to us.
