Meet sweet Samuel. Such a little cuddly love to photograph – he slept and slept and slept.. I think he woke up just once towards the end of our session, but totally let me pose him during his little snooze. It was so fun to chat with mom, auntie and daddy during our time together – Samuel’s parents have traveled the world with the military, and even lived in Italy, so of course we had to talk about that (I’m half Italian myself
)
Here are a few of my faves from our session… don’t you love the one of him smiling in the crate? Funny – I had him on the ground in the crate and for this kind of shot, the legs don’t usually keep that position for too long, so you have to shoot fast. I was still not high up enough to get the whole crate in the frame so I turned one of my buckets upside down to stand on it with the help of dad holding my other hand to balance me… it was going to be a super quick shot for that reason – one snap then I needed to get off the bucket… well little Samuel KNEW it was ‘the’ one shot he would smile for – seriously such perfect timing! What a cutie!
